Ashraf Malik was born on 12 August 1993 in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India, to an Indian Muslim family. He belongs to the Rayeen, a Punjabi Sunni Muslim community. His father, Yusuf Malik, is a professional farmer, and his mother, Firoza Begum, is a homemaker.

Ashraf Malik did his schooling at SSV Inter College, Bareilly, and graduated from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. He is also an alumnus of Amity University, Noida, where he pursued a Master of Technology in Computer Science and Technology.

Ashraf Malik is an experienced entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of BusinessLy, a public relations and media publishing house based in New Delhi, India. He completed his internship at the Indian Institute of Hardware Technology and worked as a front-end web developer. Later in 2019, he founded BusinessLy, which provides public relations and media publishing services.

After completing his post-graduation at Amity University, Ashraf Malik started his journey at the Indian Institute of Technology, Gurgaon, with his first job. After five months, he left the job and founded BusinessLy. Today BusinessLy is the fastest-growing public relations and media publishing company in India and Ashraf is currently serving as its CEO.
